Our Mission:  The Bemidji Community Food Shelf is a faith-based, caring place that listens to those who are experiencing food insecurity.  We work with our partners to be inclusive and to provide fresh, nourishing foods for those living in Beltrami County and the Bemidji School District.

Households may make one visit per calendar month which will provide about 10 meals, or 3-5 days of food per household.  Services are based on income eligibility.  We are also a distribution site for Nutrition Assistance Program for Sneiors (NAPS) boxes for income eligible seniors 60 and over.  Applications are available at the food shelf.

For service, we will need a current ID, the names and birthdates of household members and the gross income for the household.

Bemidji Community Food Shelf (BCFS) is an equal opportunity provider and employer.

We’re 2.6 million strong—1.8 million girls and 800,000 adults who believe in the power of every G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ to change the world.

Our extraordinary journey began more than 100 years ago with the original G.I.R.L., Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low. On March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, she organized the very first Girl Scout troop, and every year since, we’ve honored her vision and legacy, building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

We’re the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. And with programs from coast to coast and across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success.

Our Mission

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

We, Jessica Saucedo, Rocky Carpenter, and Saul Saucedo, have a vision for Bemidji.  We know our city is progressive in the ability to foster
innovation and investment with a simple and open approach that allows for growth and change.  Similar in mission to the Rail River Folk School, we created a separate parent company, Local 303 Co., to manage the Warehouse.  We opened it up to other entrepreneurs and local professionals who support partnership and sustainability.

The Warehouse

Managed by Local 303 Co., the Warehouse provides a centralized space for the local producer/organizer to develop, plan, create, and promote their durable goods and services through both the non-profit and for-profit sectors.

The Marina

Located on Lake Irvine, drive in through the private gate to reach your boat slip.  Shaded parking, picnic area, and a large level space are available for special events, reception tents, and lawn games.  Visit Bemidjimarina.com

The Garages

Home to Shifting Gears and our Contractor Services expert, Rocky Carpenter, the garages are a separate building with concrete flooring, high ceilings, and plenty of room for a niche trade or craft.
