Itasca County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a unique home improvement store. We sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances at a fraction of retail price. That means you save money! We take those dollars and reinvest them in affordable houses right here in Itasca County. The home improvement materials you see in our store are donated by people right here. We pass those savings on to you AND build more houses.
Our ReStore entrance is located at the side of the building, at the back of our administrative office.
Inter-County Community Council is a non-profit, community action agency that serves Red Lake, Pennington, East Polk and Clearwater Counties. Through varied and multiple programs, Inter-County Community Council helps people to build a better Minnesota. NBWS is a domestic violence emergency crisis shelter and advocacy program supporting victim/survivors of intimate partner violence. NBWS provides emotional support, items to meet basic needs (personal hygiene products, clothing, household items), transportation, and referrals to other resources, such as mental health services. NBWS also provides legal advocacy which includes assistance with filling out Orders for Protection and Harassment Restraining Orders, court accompaniment (for civil or criminal cases), tracking court matters on behalf of victim/survivors, and referrals to legal resources. NBWS provides individual, institutional and social change advocacy.

Building (Interest free home loans):
Northwoods Habitat for Humanity builds simple, decent, affordable homes with selected partners who contribute 300 hours of sweat equity either by working on their own or other Habitat homes, or volunteering with Habitat and sells the home to the partner with a zero interest mortgage. Must have the ability to pay long term (25-30 year) mortgage and willingness to partner with Habitat.
Habitat Restore:
A building supply thrift store that sells donated surplus and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances and unique items to support H abitat’s building program and eliminate waste in our local landfills.

A Brush with Kindness (ABWK):
A nation-wide program that serves low-income homeowners struggling to maintain the exterior of their homes. Assistance includes, but is not limited to, exterior repairs, (deck, sidewalk, ramp, painting, etc.) landscaping, and yard clean up. Sanford Baker Park Senior Living provides housing subsidized by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. It provides housing for low-income seniors 62 and older. Residents usually pay 30% of their income toward rent.

A Wellstone Family Safety Program addressing supervised visitation, safe exchange, and a violence intervention program for men. Advocates for Family Peace creates awareness in our community by promoting safety, equality, and responsibility in intimate and family relationships.
